Registration Information
Registration and Payment
- Students must complete the online registration form and pay the course fee within the specified time before the course deadline.
Confirmation Notice
- After successful registration, association staff will confirm the course class and relevant information to the student no less than three working days before the course starts, and arrange for the payment of the course fee.
Class Change
- Students may apply for a free class change once at least three working days before the course begins.
- The changed class must be the same course held within three months from the start date of the original class; late requests will be voided.
- For the second change onwards, an administrative fee of HKD $100 will be charged for each change.
Refund Policy
- This Association does not accept refund applications based on personal reasons.
- If a student fails to attend the course or fails to meet the course attendance rate requirements, no refund will be given.
- In special circumstances, students may apply to the Association for individual consideration, but the Association reserves the final decision.
Adverse Weather Arrangements
To ensure the safety of students and instructors, in the event of severe weather, all classes (including exams)/activities will be adjusted, canceled, or postponed according to the following arrangements.
If 2 hours before the start of the class/activity:
- Yellow and red rainstorm warning signals are in effect: all classes/activities will proceed as scheduled;
- Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 3 or below is in effect: all classes/activities will proceed as scheduled;
- Black rainstorm warning signal is in effect: all classes/activities will be canceled;
- Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above is in effect: all classes/activities will be canceled;
- An "extreme situation" declaration is issued or continues: all classes/activities will be canceled.
During class/activity:
- Yellow or red rainstorm warning signal is in effect, all classes/activities will continue;
- Black rainstorm warning signal is in effect, all classes/activities will be immediately terminated, and arrangements will be made for the safe evacuation of participants depending on the actual situation;
- Black rainstorm warning signal remains in effect when class starts, arrangements will be made for the safe evacuation of participants depending on the actual situation;
- Tropical cyclone warning signal of No. 3 or below is in effect, all classes/activities will continue;
- Tropical cyclone warning signal of No. 8 or above is in effect, all classes/activities will be immediately terminated, and arrangements will be made for the safe evacuation of participants depending on the actual situation;
- "Extreme situation" declaration is issued or continues, all classes/activities will be immediately terminated, and arrangements will be made for the safe evacuation of participants depending on the actual situation.
For classes canceled/terminated due to severe weather, the association will provide further notice regarding make-up classes or postponements.
The above class arrangements for severe weather are based on the latest guidelines from the Labour Department and the Education Bureau. All students and instructors are requested to pay attention to the Hong Kong Observatory, television news, and radio broadcasts to ensure their personal safety. Even if the Observatory does not issue the above signals, if a student is unable to attend due to severe weather affecting their area (such as localized flooding or landslides), please ensure your personal safety and notify the association as soon as possible.
