First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate Course (BFAAED)

Course Overview

This course complies with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Cap. 509A) and is a recognized "First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate Course" under Hong Kong law. The course has a total duration of 30 hours (including theory and practical training), designed to provide participants with updated first aid knowledge and skills to ensure proficiency. Upon completing the course and passing the examination, participants will be issued a "First Aid Certificate" recognized by the Labour Department in accordance with the law, valid for three years.

• Face-to-Face Instruction (Theory & Practical): 30 hours

• Examination (First Aid Theory, Bleeding & Fracture Management, CPR & AED Application): 3 hours

Certification

Participants must meet the following requirements to be awarded the "First Aid Certificate" recognized under the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation (Cap. 509A) of Hong Kong (valid for three years):

1. Achieve an attendance rate of no less than 80%; AND

2. Pass all three parts of the examination (First Aid Theory, Bleeding & Fracture Management, CPR & AED Application).

Note: Participants may enroll in our "First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate (Refresher) Course" prior to expiry or within six months after expiry, and pass the examination to renew their "First Aid Certificate" for another three years.

• First aid materials and bandaging techniques

• Casualty handling and transportation

• One digital copy of the "First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate Course" lecture notes

• Course training supplies kit (Includes: 1 dressing pad, 1 roll of 5 cm elastic bandage, 1 roll of 7.5 cm elastic bandage, 2 triangular bandages)
