Course Overview

Infants' physiological structures and organs are not yet fully developed, and their physiological responses differ significantly from those of young children and adults. When facing emergencies such as sudden vomiting, choking, febrile seizures, or fall injuries, prompt and correct emergency measures are critical to safeguarding an infant's life. The "Infant First Aid Intensive Skills Course" is specially designed for new parents, caregivers, and confinement nannies, focusing on emergency management skills for common infant accidents and sudden illnesses. Through instructor demonstrations and practical exercises, participants will precisely master practical first aid skills in a short time, building the strongest safety net for their babies.

Target Audience

Aged 18 or above (Especially suitable for new parents, expectant parents, infant caregivers, confinement nannies, grandparents, etc.)

Course Duration

Face-to-Face Instruction (including theory and practical exercises): 3 hours

Certification

Participants who achieve a 100% attendance rate and complete the practical exercises in class will be awarded an "Infant First Aid Intensive Skills Certificate of Completion" issued by our organization.

Course Key Topics

• Infant Physiological Characteristics & Protection Awareness: Understand the physiological traits of infants under 1 year old, assess home environment safety, and learn Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) prevention measures.

• Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Infant CPR): Practical operation of infant CPR (including two-finger / two-thumb encircling compression techniques and mouth-to-mouth-and-nose rescue breathing).

• Infant Airway Choking Management: Recognize choking symptoms in infants and practice "Back Blows & Chest Thrusts" to clear airway foreign objects.

• Management of Common Infant Emergencies: Handle febrile seizures (high fever convulsions), acute allergies, asthma, and dehydration/vomiting.

• Home Trauma & Accident Response: Observation for infant falls/head impacts, trauma bleeding control, burn/scald management, and emergency response to accidental ingestion/foreign body swallowing.

• Application of Infant First Aid Supplies: Correct use of infant-specific face masks, safety scissors, and dressings/bandages suitable for infant skin.
